Precision Paint Experts Field Notes
Notes from our own crew about how we run jobs and why we do things the way we do.
Why we write these
Posts carrying the Precision Paint Experts tag are our own field notes: the habits, standards and decisions behind the work, written so homeowners and property managers know what they are getting before a crew ever arrives. We are a single local crew based in Newberry with more than 15 years of painting experience, working across Alachua, Marion, Levy, Columbia and Gilchrist counties.
Because the same crew handles every job, these notes reflect how work actually happens on site rather than a policy written somewhere else.

How we approach a job
- Walkthroughs are usually scheduled within 48 hours, and a free, written, itemized estimate usually follows within one business day.
- We provide a certificate of insurance before work begins; we are licensed and insured in Florida.
- Exterior projects carry a written workmanship warranty of up to 10 years, in addition to the manufacturer's product warranty.
- Low-VOC and low-odor products are available when a household needs them.
What you will find under this tag
These posts explain the reasoning behind our standards: why prep comes in a set order on our exteriors, how we schedule around the weather, which coatings we choose for which surfaces, and what we look for during a walkthrough. We do not name paint brands, and we will not promise results we cannot control, but we are glad to explain exactly what is in your scope and why.
